Ross County 1-2 Celtic highlights

This was a precarious task for Ange Postecoglou’s men, taking on a tough Ross County side in Dingwall, especially with the hoops current injury list.

However, Celtic did take the lead just after the 20-minute mark thanks to a cross from Liam Scales, on his first league start, that was swiftly tapped home by the young Israeli Liel Abada.

Celtic seemed to have a foothold on the game for the majority of the first half with chances from both McGregor and Abada.

After the restart, it seemed to be more of the same from Celtic as chances from Nir Bitton and David Turnbull were close to doubling the visitor's lead.

However, Celtic were punished for their wastefulness as Malky McKay’s men finally started to create some chances. The introduction from striker Jordan Whyte gave the hosts some belief, and his six-yard shot was heroically blocked by Anthony Ralston

From the resulting corner, a seemingly unmarked Bladwin slotted home the County equaliser.

Celtic were no longer the dominant force, as both teams looked like they could score the winner. Things went from bad to worse for Celtic as Carl Starfelt was sent off for his challenge on Regan Charles-Cook.

Make-shift winger Josip Juranovic saw his free-kick palmed away by Maynard-Brewer, while Joe Hart had to pull off a double safe to gather the effort from County substitute Jack Burroughs.

Celtic looked destined to drop points when they were missing chances well into the six minutes of additional time.

However, surprisingly regular scorer Anthony Ralston popped up with the winner for Postecoglou’s men.
